About Dax Cooke
Dax Cooke has been a visionary entrepreneur with a keen eye for identifying and developing opportunities around the world. An Alabama native, Dax Cooke began his career in the Financial Services industry first in London with Citigroup’s Capital Markets team while studying abroad through the University of Alabama’s Culverhouse Business School work/study program. This experience seeded Dax Cooke’s understanding of capital markets and his international perspective. Dax Cooke later studied Financial planning at the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business and received his Certified Financial Planner certification after completing the 3 year program. As a financial planner, Dax Cooke was a 3 time recipient of the 40 under 40 awarded by the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.
From a tiny office in Medellin in 2015, Farmfolio has grown to employ directly & indirectly through it’s private equity funds over 200+ people across 3 continents and been a leader in Agribusiness development & exports in The Republic of Colombia. Dax Cooke’s dedication and relentless efforts have propelled the industry forward and created tremendous impacts for the local communities surrounding Farmfolio’s projects.
The company has laid an incredible foundation to support the vastly growing export sector across multiple commodities: including Coconuts, Limes, Teak, and Avocado. With the foundation in place to export multiple products through Farmfolio’s packing facilities & processing centers, Dax Cooke’s vision has now become a reality. Farmfolio is planning to scale it’s business globally with a Platform, which will enable anyone to construct a multi-product portfolio of cash flowing farmland across the globe.
Dax Cooke and his team have a track record of successful project development, problem solving, and building multinational teams to handle complex business operations. Farmfolio was founded with the vision to deliver institutional grade agribusiness opportunities to the world and to create a different kind of marketplace that makes common sense and is valued based on tangible measurable results . Through this website, Dax Cooke will provide insights into agribusiness for entrepreneurs with a similar vision and those looking for opportunities in non-traditional asset classes.
